Today's lettering is dedicated to one of my favorite characters, Captain Raymond Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine! I love how he may seem cold outside, but he is fun and playful with those close to him. What I admire most about him is his unwavering authenticity and how he has overcome discrimination in his workplace. I chose a script style for his name because I believe it suits him perfectly. 


The Extras

I also had some fun playing around with the lettering. One features his iconic line, "Yas Queen!" while the other simply showcases his name and his love. I considered drawing Kevin's head on Cheddar's body like his tattoo, but that might be a bit too scary, LOL.
