Pain takes on many forms, and we can grieve over various things, expressing our emotions in many ways. Yet, we can sense the pain of those around us if we are willing to see it. Because pain and suffering are inherently rooted in every being—a part of life itself—making pain a shared experience for all of us.
The dialogue in the film is beautifully authentic, with exceptional performances that convey deep pain and emotions. You could feel it in your bones how these people are trying so hard, struggling not to drown in their own sorrows and emotions.
While I wish the story had more resolution, I realized that the idea of resolving someone's pain and suffering in such a short period is indeed naive—both for the film's characters and for myself as an audience.
We can see the pain in their faces, but only they can live through it.
Nonetheless, we shouldn’t turn a blind eye either; we can at least show them that we are there for support. It may not magically solve everything, but it feels like a good start, a positive step forward. And perhaps, in the process, we may even discover a way to heal our own pain.
The more I reflected on the characters and the storyline, the more the film resonated with me. It offers a profoundly insightful exploration of the complex and varied pains that each of us endures, alongside the love and compassion that often accompany it.
