@alexandra It was certainly tragic, but I view it as a cautionary tale. Some perceived him as a traumatized soul, others saw him as a clown, some regarded him as a villain, and a few even considered him an icon. Numerous nuances and perspectives influenced how each character—and even we, the audience—perceived him. This conflict of perceived identities, both his own and those imposed by others, is a core element of the story. Ultimately, it raises the question of which identity would decide his fate in the end. If you remove the comic-related elements from the narrative, he would be one of the most depressing characters. But, and it’s a big but, I wouldn’t call it a great movie overall. 😅
