Weapons, 2025 - ★★★½

I really don't understand why this movie marketed itself as a horror thriller with intriguing mysteries when it's clearly a horror comedy. Even the horror elements are mostly from the gore and forced jump scares. I went in expecting thriller components with a dreadful atmosphere and a script that would make me second-guess, filled with suspense and nuanced developments as the movie progressed. And it was somewhat like that…for like 15 minutes.

My Life at a Glance Notebook: A Journal and Planner System for Seeing Life Clearly

My pocket-sized notebook isn’t like a traditional diary or a paragraph-heavy journal, nor a typical bullet journal or planner. Instead, it builds on those concepts but with a unique purpose: to view one’s life from a bird’s-eye perspective, and review it with a broader outlook. I call this my “Life at a Glance System.” Why Other Methods Didn’t Work for Me as a Life Reflection Tool  I started my journaling practice with the Bullet Journal Method because it aligned with my goal of living intentionally and recording life as it unfolds.

The Naked Gun, 2025 - ★★★½

The Naked Gun surprised me in both good and disappointing ways. The cinematography are surprisingly great in this movie. And I especially loved how committed the cast was to the humor, especially Liam Neeson. It's impressive to see seasoned actors act silly and fully embrace the absurdity of it all like this. I can only imagine how much fun the behind-the-scenes atmosphere must have been for the cast and crew.

📝 Happy Birthday to Me

Today is a joyful birthday, filled with music and love from my family because we went to sing our hearts out at karaoke all day long! I don’t know what else I need in life when I feel like I have everything I need for my entire life. I desire nothing more than a loving family, a life of my own choosing, a body free to move, a sharp mind capable of deep thought, and a heart filled with love and gratitude.

🎥 Marvel should have made an Avengers VS Avengerz movie

I've been thinking about how the Doomsday movie feels like walking a tightrope for Marvel right now. With barely any hype or buildup, it's hard to imagine how they can introduce so many characters properly without stumbling, let alone deliver a compelling storyline. The writers of Doomsday and Secret Wars must be feeling the pressure, like they're about to lose balance and fall off the wire at any moment. That got me thinking that an Avengers vs.

Why I love Karaoke

Music serves as a universal language and is one of the simplest ways to get to know someone. Sharing music naturally sparks conversations, and karaoke, in particular, provides a wonderful way to connect. It breaks the ice, brings people together, and reveals so much about a person through the songs they choose and the way they sing. By sharing melodies and harmonies, we open doors into each other’s lives. Through karaoke, you catch a glimpse into a person’s roots, personality, and experiences simply by seeing how they vibe with each song.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps, 2025 - ★★★½

Fantastic Four: First Steps is a self-contained story that anyone can watch without any prior knowledge of Marvel comics or movies. It certainly reminded me of Superman with how it just instantly throws you into the story, which I believe was a misstep for both films, as audiences could not fully form a strong emotional connection with these freshly introduced characters. The story is simple and straightforward, perhaps overly so; too simple, in a way.

Karate Kid: Legends, 2025 - ★★★

Karate Kids Legends is one of the most disappointing and frustrating movies I've watched recently. Not because it's unwatchable, but because of the huge untapped potential that got wasted on this project. How could they fumble this so hard?!! The film has a fantastic cast, impressive choreography, and solid premises, but it suffers from a weak script and some of the worst filmmaking I’ve seen in a martial arts movie. Despite having actors capable of incredible stunts, they are so underutilized it’s criminal.

Superman, 2025 - ★★★★

This sincere and kind-hearted tone suits Superman so well, I'm glad they finally got that right; he now truly embodies a symbol of hope. The story is very fast-paced and plot-driven, which might feel a bit too packed. This is just my opinion, but I would have preferred a character-driven narrative to introduce a new universe like this. Nonetheless, it's a well-crafted action-hero film. The score is amazing. The production is excellent.

📝 I Hope the World Is Kind to You

I hope the world is kind to you. I hope you never have to suffer mistreatment from others, too. I hope no one takes advantage of your kindness and heart, And that you can find joy, even when things fall apart. ... I hope your loved ones know how to love you well. I hope even strangers can see the grace in how you carry yourself. But most of all, I hope you see your worth—

Jurassic World Rebirth, 2025 - ★★★½

Jurassic World: Rebirth surprisingly arrives as a new sequel following the last trilogy, set five years after Jurassic World: Dominion. This movie marks a return to the franchise's roots, emphasizing suspense and survival horror rather than simply dinosaurs running around and fighting each other off. While the previous trilogy had taken a somewhat comical turn, Rebirth refocuses on genuine tension, incorporating elements of horror and mystery instead of relying solely on CGI-driven action sequences.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈🏳️‍🌈 As we approach the end of Pride Month, I’m creating lettering pieces celebrating music related to LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to expose people to good music and artists while also help bringing the community filled with diversity together, since music is like a universal language that can touch anyone’s heart. Born This Way is the perfect anthem to close out Pride Month. The song doesn’t just acknowledge humanity’s diversity—it celebrates it wholeheartedly.

F1, 2025 - ★★★★

Is the story predictable? Sure. But it's so goddamn exhilarating that I don't even care. With its stunning cinematography, immersive sound design, and powerful score—though Hans Zimmer feels slightly out of his element here—F1 The Movie is a crowd-pleaser you can't help but enjoy. The car racing scenes are spectacular. Unfortunately, the storyline outside the races feels fairly average. For a narrative centered on taking risks and trusting the driver, the storytelling often pulls back into the pits instead of letting these fantastic characters take the wheel and make decisions on their own.

📝 Breaking Up with My iPad—An Open Letter To My Beloved One

Dear iPad, This is it. I seriously need to break up with you. We can still be friends, but we can no longer be inseparable. I have to stop reaching for you every moment, stop letting you consume my time and attention. I’ve realized now that I rely on you too much. From now on, I’ll only pick you up when absolutely necessary; at least until I figure out how to be more independent without you.
