To the Moon and Back (Matalada) is a heartwarming Thai drama that shatters stereotypes by portraying LGBTQIA+ people as loving and capable parents. The character of Grace, Matalada's dad, was a shining example of a supportive and admirable father figure. Despite facing rejection from his own family for coming out as gay, Grace found strength in creating a loving environment for his daughter within his LGBTQIA+ community as a cabaret owner.
“Dreadnought” by April Daniels is a superhero story like no other. Danny’s journey as a transgender superhero is both powerful and touching. The story tackles important themes such as gender identity, acceptance, and self-discovery in a way that is both heartwarming and action-packed. Despite facing adversity at every turn, Danny learns to navigate her new powers and her authentic identity with courage and grace.
“Dreadnought” isn’t just about superpowers and villain smackdowns; it’s about Danny’s journey to embrace her true self amidst all the chaos.
Klaus from The Umbrella Academy is the embodiment of queer energy and I absolutely love it. He is unapologetically himself, never confined by his sexuality or gender expression. His wit, carefree attitude, and humor make him a standout character. And let's not forget, he steals the show in every scene. Definitely my favorite!

As the first transgender superhero in a major science fiction/fantasy series, Viktor from The Umbrella Academy paved the way for more diverse and inclusive representation in mainstream media. It's not often that a character's gender transitions along with the actor's, and I think this show nailed it. You can see that Elliot Page's involvement in developing the character's storyline adds an extra layer of authenticity to Viktor's journey.
I also read Page's memoir, Pageboy, which includes his experiences as a trans man and his struggles with mental health and relationships.
"You Me Her" really opened my eyes to the world of polyamory in a way that I had never considered before. The show did a great job of portraying the challenges and joys that can come with non-monogamous relationships.
Watching the dynamic between Jack, Emma, and Izzy unfold was truly captivating, and I found myself rooting for them the whole time. The show’s perfect balance of humor, drama, and heartfelt moments resonated with me, leaving me with a newfound appreciation for non-traditional forms of love.
I really appreciate how Dickinson presents the story of Emily Dickinson with a modern twist, incorporating elements like language, music, and references to historical events. The dynamic between Emily and Sue, brought to life by the talented Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Hunt, adds a powerful emotional layer to their forbidden love. 💬 Comment About My Work or 🖌️ Get Your Own Lettering
Gentleman Jack is a captivating show that shines a spotlight on the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ people in the 19th century, drawing from the real-life diaries of Anne Lister, an English landowner, and a butch lesbian.
The series does an excellent job of highlighting the legal and social barriers they had to overcome, while also showcasing their courage and resilience. One of the moments for me was when Anne Lister confidently strutted through the streets of Yorkshire.
Villanelle from Killing Eve embodied the ideal queer character people dream of. Who wouldn’t love someone with such a charming and unpredictable nature with a good sense of humor, even though she was a literal killer? 😂 And her fashion sense? Iconic. The dynamic between her and Eve was truly something special. The way she played off Eve's more reserved demeanor created an electrifying chemistry that kept me glued to the screen.
Love Lies Bleeding is like stepping into a dreamy world of a queer love story. Jackie and Lou are absolutely mesmerizing together, with their toxic yet endearing love. I literally put their love above all the bloodshed in my lettering piece to match the movie title Love Lies Bleeding.
One of the best parts of this film is the rare portrayal of strong, muscular women in such a beautiful way.
I love Orphan Black, and Cosima is my favorite character out of all the amazing ones played by Tatiana Maslany. Her character is a perfect blend of intelligence and warmth, with a quirky, nerdy side that I find so endearing. Her passion for solving problems only matches her love for her loved ones. And let's not forget her relationship with Delphine, which started rocky but became incredibly strong as they faced tough challenges together.
Enby gang, rise up!
It’s rare to see a non-binary representation, let alone a main character, so this book, I Wish You All The Best, was a breath of fresh air.
The exploration of gender fluidity and the acceptance of varying gender identities is so important. Gender fluidity is real, as is the lack of gender, like being agender. I hope people can accept these identities instead of questioning their validity.

I love Darryl from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend so much. It’s so refreshing to see a late bloomer discovering their sexuality after a divorce and being proud of their identity.
"Gettin' Bi" from the show is a perfect anthem for those coming out as bisexual, and it's a clever and catchy song that deserves recognition. Check it out if you haven’t.
I also love the dynamic relationship between Darryl and White Josh in the show.
I like Elle’s storyline in Heartstopper, transitioning to an all-girls school and finding a place where she belongs as a trans girl, in a much more uplifting way than other typical trans characters on screen. I also love her passion for art. To capture all these aspects of Elle, I transformed her name into a butterfly in an artistic style. The butterfly symbolizes her life transformation and how art serves as a form of self-expression for her.
Nick and Charlie from Heartstopper are just too adorable, aren't they? I love seeing a healthy relationship that is so positive and uplifting. Their love and support for each other is goals. I believe they are soulmates who help each other grow.

Lettering Pieace of Georgia Warr from Loveless It's amazing to see representation for the aroace (aromantic and asexual) community portrayed in such a positive light in the book Loveless by Alice Oseman. This is the book I wish I could have read when I was younger. Witnessing Georgia's journey was incredibly inspiring. It's comforting to see that not feeling sexual and/or romantic attraction is okay and doesn't make you any less whole.
Today's lettering is dedicated to one of my favorite characters, Captain Raymond Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine! I love how he may seem cold outside, but he is fun and playful with those close to him. What I admire most about him is his unwavering authenticity and how he has overcome discrimination in his workplace. I chose a script style for his name because I believe it suits him perfectly.
Lettering piece of Rosa Diaz There’s no better name to kick off the Pride Month celebration than the absolute bi icon, Rosa Diaz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine!Rosa Diaz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I love her cool, tough, and confident demeanor. So, I transformed her name into a motorcycle and used a black leather jacket as the background to represent her iconic style in the show. 😁

The Work The Inspiration
"The 1" is the song that got me into Taylor Swift's music. I deeply resonate with everything about it. I feel like the song perfectly captures the feelings of longing and regret over a past love that you consider the best you've ever experienced. It encapsulates the bittersweet nature of "what-ifs" and the slow progress of moving on, while still clinging to the idea of being the one they’d choose in the end.
The Work This is my lettering piece inspired by the song "Man In The Mirror", with the image from Cottonbro Studio. The Inspiration
Despite our different music tastes, my family and I can always agree on one artist—Michael Jackson. One of my most cherished memories is singing his music in the car together.
"Man in The Mirror" is a personal favorite of mine. Its message of taking charge of our lives and actions resonates with me.
The Work My lettering design for the song "Come Alive."
My lettering design for the song "Come Alive." The Inspiration The Greatest Showman is one of the best cinematic experiences for me. The film's energy made me pumped and ready to conquer the world. Although I wanted to sing "From Now On" at the top of my lungs on the way home, I didn't want to seem like an even bigger weirdo.
The Work This is the lettering piece based on the song Grow As We Go by Ben Platt
The lettering piece based on the song Grow As We Go by Ben Platt The Inspiration Combining Ben Platt’s divine voice with the wonderful lyrics, and you get one of the most beautiful songs ever. I appreciate the message of "Grow As We Go". You don’t have to grow alone; you should allow people to grow together with you so that you can have each other’s backs.
The Work The draft of my lettering design for Visiting Hours by Ed Sheeran The Inspiration I have been a fan of Ed Sheeran since his first album. While his recent music may not resonate with me as much personally, I still enjoy listening to his songs on repeat.
However, I must say that "Visiting Hours" is his masterpiece. It is incredibly emotional and powerful; I could feel his emotions in every moment of the song.
The Work My Lettering Design for Drive It Like You Stole It by Sing Street Movie The Inspiration
The movie “Sing Street” is a delightful mix of coming of age, music, rock band passion, romance, and friendship—truly a gem. But the best part of this movie is the soundtrack!!
I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet.
The song "To Find You" from its soundtrack album stole my heart.
The Work The Inspiration
After listening to her album "Folklore", I recently became a Taylor Swift fan, realizing her charm and the lyrical genius she is. I now totally get why she's so famous. It took me a while to realize how great she is, but it's better late than never.
Among all her songs, the song "All Too Well" stands out as a true masterpiece. Its lyrics and imagery beautifully captured the essence of a complicated relationship.
The Work This is the lettering design inspired by the song "You're Not The One"
The Inspiration Chester See's music hits differently with those emotional vocals in his songs. "You're Not The One" had me in tears the first time I heard it, and it's still on my mind to this day. It's just such a heartbreaking song about letting go of someone who can't see you as their person, no matter how hard you try to make them see it.
The Work My design inspired by Best Fake Smile by James Bay The Inspiration I've always been a fan of James Bay's music. His songs hit home for me. There's just such a variety in his music and one that stood out to me for my lettering design is the song "Best Fake Smile". The message in that song is great, you can pretend everything's cool but deep down it's eating you away.
The Work The Inspiration Inspired by John Legend's song "Everybody Knows," I created this lettering design. I had a phase where I only exclusively listened to John Legend's music for months. His voice was very soothing and comforting to me.
This song holds a special place in my heart as it talks about how people act like they have all the answers, but in reality, who knows what would actually happen if things changed?
The Work My design inspired by In A Song by Hunter Hayes The Inspiration Today's design is inspired by Hunter Hayes's song "In A Song". This song is featured in my playlist "These Songs Saved My Life" because it genuinely saved me during a tough time. Listening to it gave me the sense of hope to keep going despite the pain and emotions I was feeling. You sometimes wish you could change the past, but in reality, doing so would only mess things up further.
